PFEC is unlike most aviation museums. Youth of all ages and abilities, such as Colin (see sidebar), are encouraged to touch the airplanes, push all the buttons in a cockpit, try science experiments, invent new things that can fly and connect with others who share a love of learning and of flight. Over the past seven years staff, volunteers and supporters have worked together to give children rare access to the world of flight.
Located on historic Pearson Field Airport, PFEC uses its unique location to teach others about our history as we help youth like PFEC volunteer Liam (see video) prepare for their futures. Through his association with PFEC, Liam has solidified his goal to pursue his education and career in aviation and gained an appreciation for the people, events and innovations of historic Pearson Field.
